The inaugural ChatPCR Forum, a symposium on AI and life sciences, was jointly organized by Turtle Technology, DiagRe, and the Shanghai Society of Genetics. The event, also a gathering of experts, witnessed insightful discussions and forward-looking perspectives on the limitless possibilities of AI in life sciences and precision medicine.

Professor Lu Daru, Vice Chairman of the Genetics Society of Chinese and Chairman of the Shanghai Society of Genetics, extended his best wishes for the successful outcome of the forum via remote video.

Kicking off the forum, Professor Wu Dongping, Chief Scientist of Turtle Technology and a professor at Fudan University's School of Microelectronics, presented on 'Global Life Science Research Innovation Community—BioBuddy System and Development Plans.' Experts on-site engaged in lively discussions around algorithms, mathematical models, and other professional topics.

Professor Chen Xiaoyan from the Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences shared thoughts on the development and application of innovative testing technologies in a presentation titled 'Reflections on the Development and Application of Innovative Testing Technologies.' She discussed issues such as the lack of standardization and lagging regulatory methods in current innovative applications.

Deputy Director Xiao Linlin from the Clinical Laboratory of the South Campus of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital shared clinical solutions for molecular diagnostic products, providing relevant suggestions for the entry of instruments. Recommendations included designing instruments with contamination-resistant, lid-free features. During the Q&A session, experts urged IVD companies to pay more attention to the practical applications of their products at the frontline.

Derlead Biotech founder Fang Yuan compared digital PCR with fluorescent PCR in a presentation titled 'Comparison of Digital PCR and Fluorescent PCR in Ultra-Multiplex Detection Technology.' He showcased Derlead's technology and products in molecular detection of fungal infections while expressing optimism about Turtle Technology's Ultra-Multiplex digital PCR technology and contributing to its development.

Qin Wei, Medical R&D Director at DiagRe, delved into the 'Technical Characteristics and Application Directions of Digital PCR,' highlighting the advantages of digital PCR over traditional fluorescent PCR in certain testing applications and outlining the development prospects of digital PCR technology in various fields.
